about katie
I'm Katie Bush (she/her, née Burnett), a "Jill of all trades" living in San Diego, California. I am one of those people who can make or do anything! I currently split my projects between California and my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, having established businesses in both cities.
I received my BFA from Georgia State University and my MAEd from the University of Georgia. While in college, I ran a blog for art teachers called The Daily Telecraft. In 2012, I published a children's book. I was named the 2015 Museum Art Educator of the Year by the Georgia Art Education Association and I have won numerous awards for my chalk art. In 2020, I received my advanced yoga teacher certification. I have taught over 2,000 yoga classes and lead modules for yoga teacher training programs. I currently build websites for festivals, nonprofits, and yoga studios.
